The Certificate III in Carpentry provides a trade outcome in carpentry, covering work in residential and commercial applications.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Although the training package states that CPC30211 Certificate III in Carpentry may be accessed by direct entry, international students must comply with the entry requirements for international students.

International Students

International students must be 18 years of age or above and provide evidence of the following published entry requirements as stated below:

Academic Entry Requirements

  • Year 12 or equivalent of Australian HSC., and

English Language Entry Requirements:

  • IELTS score 5.5 overall (with no band less than 5.0) or equivalent Pearson Test of English (PTE)

Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A covers this requirement.
