The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care reflects the role of workers in a range of early childhood education settings who work within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. They support the implementation of an approved learning framework, and support children’s wellbeing, learning and development. Depending on the setting, educators may work under direct supervision or autonomously.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Although there are no stated entry requirements in the CHC Training Package for entry into CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, international students must be 18 years of age or above and provide evidence the following published entry requirements as stated below:

Academic Entry Requirements

  • Year 12 or equivalent

English Language Entry Requirements:

  • IELTS score 6.0 minimum (no lower than 5.5 in each band) or equivalent
