Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery – AHMI
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery reflects the role of commercial cooks who have a supervisory or team leading role in the kitchen. They operate independently or with limited guidance from others and use discretion to solve non-routine problems.This qualification provides a pathway to work in organisations such as restaurants, hotels, clubs, pubs, cafes and coffee shops, or to run a small business in these sectors.
There are no stated entry requirements in the Training Package
International students must be 18 years of age or above and provide evidence the following published entry requirements as stated below:
Academic Entry Requirements
- Year 12 or Australian HSC or equivalent, and
English Language Entry Requirements:
- IELTS score 5.5 minimum (no lower than 5.0 in each band) or equivalent
