The Diploma of Automotive Technology reflects the role of individuals who diagnose, analyse, evaluate, design and modify vehicle systems in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

International students must be 18 years of age or above and provide evidence the following published entry requirements as stated below:

Course Entry Requirements

  • Students undertaking the Diploma of Automotive Technology must have completed an automotive Certificate IV qualification in one of the following disciplines, or be able to demonstrate equivalent competency
  • AUR40216 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis
  • AUR40816 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Overhauling

Academic Entry Requirements

  • Year 12 or equivalent of Australian HSC., and

English Language Entry Requirements:

  • IELTS score 5.5 overall (with no band less than 5.0)
