English courses in Australia involve part-time (10-15 hours per week) and full-time (at least 20 hours per week) courses. Student visa holders must complete full-time studies for a period of more than 3 months. English courses can be found in different versions depending on the objectives of the study, the intensity of the classes and the need for certain language skills. Main types of courses:

General English (General English) is a course for those who want to use English in everyday life. Students learn the basics of the language. The course is aimed at the integrated development of all skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing. Suitable for students of all levels from beginner to advanced.

(EAP) English for Academic Purposes is a course for those who need English for admission to Australian universities. In the process of studying, students develop vocabulary and skills that will be useful to them in their further studies in Australia.

IELTS/TOEFL/Cambridge Exam Preparation is a course to prepare for the international English language tests that are required for admission to Australian universities, as well as when applying for a residence and work visa, to confirm your level of English. The course is mainly devoted to the testing format, so it does not improve the level of English by itself. Therefore, before taking this course, we recommend that you take a General English course to achieve the desired level, and then start preparing directly for the test.

(English for high school preparation) English for high school preparation – courses for children who plan to study in an Australian school. During the course, students also study some school subjects in English in order to get used to the learning process and get acquainted with the vocabulary.

(English for Direct Entry) English for Direct Entry – This course allows you to enter an Australian university without taking IELTS or other language tests. To be eligible for this course, the student must already have an IELTS certificate, so it is suitable for those who want to study at a university but have not been able to obtain the required IELTS score for admission.

(English for special purposes) English for special purposes (English for business, for example) – courses for those who want to deepen their knowledge of English in any professional field (business, IT, medicine, etc.). For admission to these courses, at least an intermediate level of language proficiency is required.

(English Plus Activities) English plus activities – English language courses combined with various extracurricular activities – trips, hiking, visiting interesting places, playing sports, volunteering, etc. Most often this type of course is popular with teenagers, but there are also courses for adults who want to combine learning English with an exciting vacation.
